Ben Harrell was a United States (U.S.) Army officer who graduated from the U.S. Military Academy in the class of 1933. He was with the 3rd Infantry Division (1942-1944), and held other commands in the Mediterranean Theater of Operations (ETO) during World War II (WWII).
